I have begun work on a new map which I have decided to title Arena_Putsch.
As it has been given away, it shall be an arena map which hopefully when completed successfully will be added to our server with the main intention as serving for 1v1 to 4v4 matches.

Some ideas sparked last night when some of the boys and me fooled around in dm_duel.
Anyways, enough chatter, heres some pics of what i have so far.






So yeah, as you guys can tell, it'll consist of a boxing ring in the middle (for heavy fights tee hee) and the ring will also double up as the final CP that needs to be capped. I shall work on walkways and a backstage area next, also will have to do heaps to the main battle area including lighting, etc. I also think a locker room spawn area will be more than appropriate. Smile

you should put in like a real secret door that leads to a window really high up that can serve as a sniper window and put a tiny hole to shoot through, not too obvious. and did u finish that other level u showed me?
and szanto im sure u could make one if u set your mind to it!

Looks nice. Should be good fun and look forward to being a beta tester once you find some time to work on it Smile

Hehe mapping would be a good ability to have. There's quite a few tutorials out there..I remember trying to make maps for Starcraft back in the day and failing pretty badly Razz

Was hard to create all the triggers which made things happen, such as spawning X amount of marines at a designated spot when a player earnt Y amount of minerals. Anyone who played the game would appreciate some of UMS maps on battle.net, such as the RPGs, defence etc.

And that was only Starcraft, released 10 years ago! Haha..can't imagine what it would be like with 3D Shocked
